About Event

The Futura 2K17 is the National level Tech Fest of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology encouraging fresh ideas from ambitious youngsters of the student community. It has been scheduled for the 7th,8th and 9th on the month of September, 2017.
It puts forth a common platform where students irrespective of their branches, seniority and experiences unite together to showcase their skills. It is a Techno-Cultural fest with a multitude of events lined up in diverse categories of precisely chosen technical events, project contests and workshops based on schemes like 'Digital India', 'Make in India' and 'Skill India'. We ensure that you come out reincarnated with an experience of unique talents which unfold themselves as they engrave your minds more than ever.
We wholeheartedly present to you the Futura 2K17 which is a blend of Innovation, Cognition and Interaction giving you an experience a class apart.

Events

FUTURA'17 hosts events with prizes worth 2 million in total. The Project Design Contest has prizes worth Rs 5,75,00, with three First Prizes of Rs 1,00,000; three Second Prizes of Rs 50,000; three Third Prizes of Rs 25,000; and consolation prizes. Technical events, Paper Presentations, Workshops, Field Events, Photography Contest, Pitch Your Thoughts - a Shortfilm contest, and Vibe - an intercollege Battle of Bands are the other key contests of FUTURA'17.

Workshops

Workshops have been arranged in the fields of Robotics, Electronics, Mechanics, Construction, Design, and Biotechnology.

Paper Presentation is individually conducted by the Departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, and School of Management Studies.
